Welcome to Hungry Owl! By placing an order, registering an account, or browsing our campus food ordering platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Account Registration & Eligibility
- Eligibility: Services are available to Chandigarh University students, faculty, university staff, and campus visitors.
- Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate information upon registration, including your full name, valid email address, active phone number, and precise campus delivery location.
- Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
2. No Order Cancellation Policy
Please review your food order and campus drop-off location carefully before confirming your order.
- Immediate Kitchen Preparation: To ensure food arrives hot, fresh, and within promised campus delivery times, orders are dispatched instantly to restaurant kitchens upon placement.
- No Customer Cancellation: Hungry Owl does not permit order cancellations once an order has been submitted. Customers do not have the option to cancel an active order.
- Non-Refundable: Payments made via Razorpay or commitments for Cash on Delivery are non-refundable once an order is placed, except in cases where a restaurant is unable to fulfill the order.
3. Pricing & Payments
- Menu Prices: All food prices listed are determined in coordination with campus restaurant partners.
- Fees: Item subtotal, delivery fee, and platform fee (₹5) are calculated transparently server-side prior to checkout.
- Payment Modes: We accept online payments via Razorpay (UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking) and Cash on Delivery (COD).
- COD Responsibility: Selecting Cash on Delivery creates a binding commitment to pay the full bill amount in exact cash upon delivery. Refusal to pay COD bills will result in permanent account suspension.
4. Delivery & Campus Drop-off Spots
- Fixed Locations: Deliveries are strictly limited to designated campus locations managed and updated by Hungry Owl administration.
- Customer Availability: Customers must ensure they are present at the selected campus spot when the delivery partner arrives. Delivery partners will attempt to call your registered phone number up to 2 times upon arrival.
